Order and Return Policy

 Orders placed by service shops, re-sellers or freight forwarding companies will be canceled and refunded. 

All on-line orders are charged out at the time of the order. All orders are shipped and no in-store
pick-up.

Any changes to an order may be subject to additional charges. We cannot cancel any painted item once placed.

No returns on electrical items.

No returns on paint, spray, touch-up or quarts.

Any descrepancies must be reported within 10 days of receiving items.

Price and availability is subject to change.

Any orders from aftermarket companies that sell in a pack of (5) or (10) or you must purchase the entire pack. Please inquire before ordering. Usually it would be gaskets, terminal ends and such.

We cannot ship overseas or outside the US unless in the U.S. military and sending to a APO address.

It usually takes 3 to 4 business days to get the parts to us from harley if we have to order the part due to not having it in stock. We will let you know if the part is on backorder, which means that harley does not have the part at their wharehouse.

 


  • We no longer can sell outside the U.S., Unless to a military person living abroad with a APO address. We no longer can sell to commercial repair shops outside our market area. Or anyone that we suspect resells or buys in quantity. We don't sell engines, frames, crankcases or batteries online.

 

  •  Note: Just because item is in shopping cart doesn't mean its in stock. Please check on-line
    for stock. You can also use Live Help to check. When ordering clothing, all clothing items
    starting with 96, 97, and some 98's are seasonal items or one-time only items. Unless we show in stock from our inventory. We cannot order. Please verify before ordering.


  • No returns or exchanges on helmets.

 

  • Prices subject to change.  Vendors and manufacturer will periodically change prices without notice.
  • We cannot guarantee delivery on all parts, which is subject to availability from manufacturer or distributor.
  • Painted/Primed parts can take 4 or more weeks to get from Harley-Davidson. Painted parts can not be canceled unless back ordered (means a back order release date was giving to you for this part)
  • If you need verification of part numbers, you should email info@newcastlehd.com prior to placing your order. The folks doing the orders do not verify part numbers for fitment or check if more parts are needed.
  • Order Cancellations:

    You can  cancel an order if it hasn't been ordered yet, if ordered then subject to a cancellation fee.  Exceptions to the cancellation fee may be made for items we have in stock or we determine are quickly saleable. Exceptions are at the sole discretion of the internet department management.

    If an item is on backorder and has not been shipped by the vendor the item can be canceled and no cancellation fee. This is only for the backorder item and not the complete order. If cancelling the complete order then a restocking may apply.

    If an item is on backorder and has been shipped by the vendor then the part cannot be canceled. If you still wish to canel the item then it will be subject to a cancellation fee plus shipping cost to return the item to the vendor.

    Special order aftermarket items and items that are vendor-direct such as key-coded, painted parts, transmission cases and items with mileage cannot be cancelled after the order is placed.

    Items such as key-coded, painted parts or paint and items with mileage that have a vendor extended lead time are not considered backordered items.

    By placing your order with us you agree to the terms and policies as well as any laid out on the Orders and Returns page.

  • We guarantee all parts, accessories and clothing. All warranties are subject to manufacturer approval. Credit will be issued once we get credit from the manufacturer in question. All freight is the responsibility of the end-user. No Labor is covered for warrantied part or accessory.

  • Any cancellations are subject to restocking fees. Once the order is placed, any corrections are subject to handling fees.

  • Any parts, accessories or clothing returned are subject to a 25% restocking charge plus shipping unless item in question is warranted, or there was an error on our part. All returns/exchanges/warranties must have original packaging and be in resalable condition (no writing on packages, all hardware accounted for, and instruction sheets included. Any package not meeting these requirements will not be accepted as a valid return and sent back to the customer at their expense). We will not accept returns over 20 days of invoice date. Customer is responsible for all freight since we do not get re-imbursed from the factory.
    All returns require a return authorization and must be returned in a timely manner, within 5 business days. 
    Absolutely no return of electrical items. We cannot accept any installed, painted, primed or item not in original package.

  •      Any discrepancies with the order must be brought to our attention within 15 days upon receiving     shipment.


  •      Heavy or oversized items may require extra freight - see examples
         Engine guards, windshields, wheels, tires, oil,  body parts like fairings, saddlebags, tour-paks
    Also shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and other US providences outside the continental US may require additional shipping cost.

  • Note:  When ordering from Drag Specialties some items  are sold in pack quantity,  such as gaskets,orings, seals, springs, the customer will be required to purchase the pack. Example: 0952-0300 is pack of 6 , customer must buy all 6.

 

 

  • Please do not send any item back without prior authorization.


  •  Any item received that has been installed will be sent back or incur a 50% restocking fee. 


  • Windshields that are sent back because of scratches but that are not scratched because it just needed cleaned due to film put on by Harley-Davidson will be charged shipping both ways.


  • All Vin restricted parts requires a valid vin # for the part that matches the bike. If the item has to be returned to Harley, we cannot do order.
